I began coding at 9 years old in GW-BASIC on a Tandy 1000 HX, and I’ve been fascinated by technology ever since. I began programming professionally in 2002 maintaining legacy applications in Visual Basic 6. When I got a chance to have my own project, I switched to C#, and fell in love. I currently work as the Microsoft Student Partner at CSU, Chico, and as the Events Coordinator for half a dozen Computer Science student organizations.
I expect to graduate from CSU, Chico on May 31st with a BS in Computer Science with an option in Math / Science and a minor in Math. In case you are hiring, I’m looking for a job for when I graduate. My ideal job would be a people facing position working in technology, preferably with developers. I am very active in the developer community surrounding the Silicon Valley, and attend and help out at as many events as I can. I’m extremely comfortable in front of people, and have given numerous presentations to crowds varying in size from 5 to 300. I am willing to relocate, and know that I could help out in any region.
